 LOMO Microscope MULTISCOPE BMH3-ASB Phase Contrast for NIOSH 7400 Asbestos, LOMO -BMH3-ASB - The BMH3-ASB PHASE CONTRAST MICROSCOPE is a Phase Contrast version of LOMO's Multiscope microscope series specially designed to meet the requirements for both NIOSH 7400 and OSHA methods for counting asbestos and asbestos related fibers in air samples by PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy). Walton-Beckett Graticule (16mm dia. $160.00. RE-1060) is included!
The BMH3-ASB PHASE CONTRAST MICROSCOPE includes everything that the LOMO BMH4-PH Phase Contrast microscope does, with the following exceptions/additions:
- The BMH3-ASB PHASE CONTRAST MICROSCOPE includes 2 brightfield Plan Achromat objectives, 4x and 10x, for locating and searching through your sample. It then includes a 40x, 0.65 N.A. phase contrast achromat objective for performing the fiber counting. The phase annuli of the condenser and 40x phase objective can be easily centered using the included centering telescope CT-4 and the two knurled alignment knobs on the front of the condenser.
- The BMH3-ASB PHASE CONTRAST MICROSCOPE includes 2 10x compensating eyepieces, one of which is a focusing design to enable focusing on the included Walton-Beckett counting reticle. The Walton-Beckett reticle will arrive installed and has a D-value of 4.00
- The BMH3-ASB PHASE CONTRAST MICROSCOPES includes a soft, padded carrying case for transportation
- The BMH3-ASB PHASE CONTRAST MICROSCOPE binocular head has a magnification of 1.0x, instead of 1.5x on the BMH4-PH, in order to yield exactly 400x magnification for phase observations according to NIOSH 7400.
