O-Ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof and fogproof protection in all weather conditions. The Elite contains only the finest optical glass polished to a high resolution finish. Then each lens surface is fully multi-coated with anti-reflection materials to reduce light loss. PC-3 phase coating on the roof prism models dramatically improves resolution and contrast by correcting the light phase-shift interference in roof prism binoculars. The final product is an instrument that provides long eye relief, close focus and delivers a sharp, bright, color corrected image with uncompromised clarity. Features include easy to grip precision center focus mechanism and soft rubber armoring. Complete with rainguard, padded nylon neck strap and rich leatherette carrying case.

Rainguard®: Bausch & Lomb / Bushnell's exclusive hydrophobic (water-repellent) coating on which condensation from rain, fog or snow forms in much smaller droplets than on standard coatings. Smaller droplets scatter less light which results in increased light transmission and a much clearer image. Rainguard makes the binocular useful even when looking directly into the driving rain.
